We were so honored to have JT Long of JT Long and Company helping us recap the week! If you would like to interview a panelist, or event organizer, please contact JT to make arrangements. Excerpts of JT’s GEW Daily Recap will be included throughout these re-caps!

Our Week began on the Campus of CSU, Sacramento (or better known as “Sac State”).  Over 150 professionals and students were in attendance listening to the entrepreneurial advice from panelists: Gary Hudson, Dave Chamberlain, Jennifer Gordon and Moderator Prof. Jo Ellen Seeley-Volf explored what it meant to be an entrepreneur in a slow economy.

Quotable

“I first knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur in second grade when I had a lust for buttons.”
- Jennifer Gordon

“Entrepreneurship brings out skills in yourself you never knew you had.”
- Dave Chamberlain

“Entrepreneurship gives a sense of freedom until reality rears its head and you run out of money.”
- Gary Hudson

The speaker panel was followed by a networking session where students and business people could unite to learn, grow and prospect from one another.
